Effective treatment of COPD is urgent in light of the mortality, morbidity and economic consequences of the disease. In this course, you will learn the latest evidence-based treatments as well as the safe and beneficial use of established therapies that are essential in helping more patients achieve optimal functional status and quality of life. This course will address how you can help patients with COPD better understand the importance of using medications properly and consistently.
This online program includes two panel discussions with leading experts in the field of COPD, moderated by Barry Make, MD, co-director of the COPD Program at National Jewish Health. It is designed for family and internal medicine physicians, community pulmonologists, physician assistants and advanced practice nurses who may see patients with COPD.
Each segment of this free CME activity takes approximately 30 minutes to complete and can be done independently of the other for credit.
